Updating Customer to 'Closed'

1. Change the Customer's status to 'Closed' in the portal

• Update all of the fields in the closing details section.
• Please Do not leave the 'Lender' field blank

2. Upload documents

Upload the settlement and commission statements to the portal. This documentation is used to verify the close details and calculate the referral fee.

3. Pay the referral fee

The referral fee percent owed for each customer connection is located at the top of the referral agreement you receive with each new connection.

• If you are unsure of the fee % of a customer try searching this phrase in HomeStory associated email: "HomeStory Referral Agreement for [Customer's first and last name]"
• The fee % for each customer will also be located on their profile page on the right side below the buyer details
